About
What is NIDC?
The Nagaland Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (NIDC) is a Government of Nagaland undertaking, established in 1970 to promote industrial growth, infrastructure development, and entrepreneurship in the state.
What does NIDC do?
- Industrial infrastructure Development: Special Economic Zones, Industrial Estates, and Export Infrastructure.
- Skill Development & Training: Workforce upskilling and modern industrial training programs.
- Digitization: Implementation of digital tools for efficiency and transparency.
Services
- Term Loan: NIDC provides term loan at 12% interest rate
- National Scheduled Tribes Finance Development Corporation (NSTFDC): Provides concessional loans to Scheduled Tribe entrepreneurs for viable income-generating activities. No new disbursements until further notice
- National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC): Offers financial assistance to individuals from minority communities to promote economic development. No new disbursements until further notice.
- National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation (NSKFDC): Implements loan-based schemes providing financial assistance to Safai Karamcharis, Scavengers, and their dependents for viable income-generating schemes, including sanitation-related activities and education. No new disbursements until further notice.
- Dimapur: 30 acres, 25 factory sheds, all rented to industrial/manufacturing units. (Address? Have asked department to provide geolocation)
- SEZ (Ganeshnagar): 125 acres, agro-horticulture sector given priority
- No of sheds : 21 (Occupied)
- Plots : 24 plots (Occupied);
- SEZ – 3 sheds
- Special design factories : 3 (available).
Open to manufacturing businesses.

Sheds allotted based on feasibility and availability.
Since 1985, NIDC has provided low-cost housing in Dimapur’s Supermarket area with 36 apartments, categorized as:
- MIG (Middle Income Group) – 6 apartments
- LIG (Lower Income Group) – 20 apartments
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section) – 10 apartments
How to apply?
Residential Quarters- Available for low-income groups (MIG, LIG, EWS).
- Apply at NIDC office with income proof and required documents.
- Allotment based on eligibility and availability.
- Open to manufacturing businesses.
- Submit application to NIDC with business details and project plan.
- Sheds allotted based on feasibility and availability.
